As a Project Coordinator on the Client Services team, Rama focuses on ensuring smooth project workflows to help clients achieve their goals. With a robust background in urban planning, she excels in developing and implementing precise, high-quality procedures for data collection, cleaning, and analysis. 

Prior to joining Public Works, Rama honed her urban planning expertise through various India-based internships. She provided design interventions for Godown Street in George Town, Chennai, and oversaw urban character analysis as an intern in urban planning for the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA). She also influenced urban development methods throughout India by contributing to national guidelines for transportation and sustainable waterways at Jana Urban Space in Bengaluru.

As a Master of Regional Planning candidate at Cornell University, Rama excels in urban development with a focus on equity. As the Planning Graduate Student Representative on the Dean’s Advisory Committee, she influences academic and student initiatives. Her work as a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell’s Mui Ho Center for Cities Lab and as a Consultant Coordinator with CMDA showcases her commitment to urban innovation across different contexts. 

Rama is also a licensed Architect with the Council of Architecture (COA) in India. Her comprehensive expertise equips her to impact urban planning through collaborative research and strategic, design-based solutions.
