About Moe

As Director of Business Development, Moe ensures Public Works identifies and executes creative, impactful projects that drive lasting change in local neighborhoods and communities. A strategic leader and change agent, he thrives on aligning Public Works’ tools and expertise to drive growth and expand to new markets. He joined the firm in 2015 as a manager-level consultant, leading strategy development and performance improvement projects for government and nonprofit clients. Moe was named Senior Manager in 2019 and Director in 2021.

Prior to joining Public Works Partners, Moe served as a Senior Advisor for the award-winning NYC Center for Economic Opportunity, where he incubated innovative anti-poverty strategies. He also supported the Center’s national demonstration project funded through the Corporation for National and Community Service’s inaugural Social Innovation Fund and shepherded the Center’s successful 2011 bid for the Innovations in American Government Award from Harvard’s Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation. Moe also held programmatic and government relations roles at the Stella and Charles Guttman Foundation, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and the NYC Department of Small Business Services.

Moe holds an MPA from New York University and a BA in Government from St. John’s University. He is a graduate of Coro Leadership New York, a Next City Vanguard, and a ULI Health Leaders Network alumnus. A native of New York City, Moe is the former Chair of Surfrider NYC and currently serves on the boards of Newtown Creek Alliance and Seaweed City.
