New York, NY (April 23, 2023) – Public Works Partners announced the promotion of Jordan Cosby to a senior manager on the Client Services team.  In this role, Jordan will serve as Engagement Lead on various Community Health projects in partnership with Principals Melissa Lee and Celeste Frye.

Jordan joined Public Works Partners in 2021, bringing her zest for urban planning and management consulting to life through impactful projects for our government and nonprofit partners. She’s been pivotal in crafting the strategic vision for the New Rochelle Public Library, spearheading community engagement for the Harlem River Greenway project, and playing a key role in securing the NYSERDA Clean Transportation Prize for Volvo North America. Before dazzling us, Jordan dedicated her skills to youth advocacy, climate resilience, and participatory planning across major nonprofits, even steering fundraising, and board activities for the Boy Scouts of America in NYC. Armed with a master’s in urban planning from NYU and an undergraduate degree from CSU Monterey Bay, Jordan’s expertise lights up our team’s innovative endeavors.

“Working at Public Works over the last few years has allowed me to help our clients solve complex issues in the urban planning, transportation, and resilience spaces,” said Jordan Cosby, Public Works Senior Manager. “Throughout each client engagement, I’ve genuinely enjoyed amplifying their amazing projects and the community voices integral to making them a success. As I step into this new role, I look forward to continuing to help our clients make waves in the urban planning space and create lasting impact in communities.”

“For the last three years, Jordan has worked for Public Works Partners as a project manager and has been a key player on our client services team. Jordan has an exceptional ability to think linearly and yet see the order in the creative consulting process, making her an invaluable asset to clients and the project team,” said Melissa Lee, Public Works Partners Principal of Organizational Health. “Jordan has also been an integral part of Public Works’ management initiatives, working to identify new learning opportunities and inspire staff to develop their professional prowess. Once again, join us in congratulating Jordan on her well-deserved promotion. We have seen and benefited from Jordan’s exemplary dedication to our firm. I know I speak for everyone when I say her professionalism, grace and steadfastness make her a pleasure to work with and an invaluable member of our Public Works family.”

“Professional development and growth within our team is essential to building a strong culture and providing our community with great advising and expertise,” said Celeste Frye, Public Works CEO & Principal. The growth of Public Works Partners serves to provide more clients with our services, while also creating opportunities for our awesome team members to build their careers right here.  Jordan personifies our values of doing good, curiosity and learning, and fun. I look forward to working with her for years to come.”
