Our Strategy

From December 2019 through February 2020, our team developed and led a surveying effort to gather feedback on the new busway from the general public and local businesses on and adjacent to 14th Street.

The general public survey was distributed online and in-person and gathered input from over 1,680 participants on the accessibility, safety, and convenience of the new busway. The business survey was distributed through a door-to-door canvassing effort and gathered 183 responses and focused on identifying the impacts of the busway on local workers, business performance, and patrons.

Impact
and Outcome

Our survey findings were included in the Winter 2019 quarterly project report published by Sam Schwartz.

As of June 2020, the New York City Mayor made the 14th Street busway permanent. Report link: https://www.samschwartz.com/14th-st-busway
