Learn More About the PACT Resource Team

We’re excited to lead the PACT Resource Team, an innovative program that seeks to match NYCHA residents with technical assistance providers who can support them through the Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) program. Along with our partners, LISC NYC, Public Policy Lab, and Pratt Institute, we’re dedicated to administering a program that will respond to the needs of NYCHA residents as they plan for the future of their communities.

In designing this program, we spoke with NYCHA residents to understand the types of services that can help inform, organize, and empower their involvement in the PACT Planning process. Based on these conversations, we developed seven service categories that range from preparing residents to choose the development team that will renovate and manage their property to providing extra engagement support to sharing technical advice on the design of the development. And over the past couple of months, we’ve worked directly with residents who are currently in the PACT program to begin identifying which services they need. We’re eager to start matching NYCHA residents with the right services for them. Thus the reason we’re so excited!

Earlier this week, we partnered with LISC NYC to launch a Request for Qualifications to establish a pool of experienced technical assistance providers that will join the PACT Resource Team. This RFQ will be accepting applications through March 7, 2022, with a public information session to be held next Wednesday February 16 from 11:00am to 12:00pm.

For more information about the PACT Resource Team, including a Q&A with NYCHA’s Executive Vice President for Real Estate Development, Jonathan Gouveia, please visit the PACT Resource Team page on LISC NYC’s website.
