Public Works Partners: Now a Caltrans-Certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise

We are thrilled to announce that Public Works Partners has officially become a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). This significant milestone marks a new chapter in our West Coast journey, further enabling us to expand our services and impact.

What This Certification Means

The DBE certification is part of a national program designed to ensure a level playing field where small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals can compete for federally funded transportation projects. By achieving this certification in California, Public Works Partners joins an esteemed group of businesses recognized for their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the transportation industry.

Opportunities Ahead

With this certification, Public Works Partners can now participate in projects funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) in California. This opens up new avenues for us to contribute our expertise in urban planning, infrastructure development, and public policy consulting to more significant, impactful projects throughout the state.
