January 2022 Newsletter: See ya 2021 – Hello 2022!

Zooming through 2021

At risk of sounding trite, 2021 was an unprecedented year. We grew our team, worked with some truly incredible clients and partners on topics ranging from community development to electric vehicle infrastructure to public housing, and led over 25,000 minutes of Zoom meetings. We also engaged with our community in new ways, reaching over 18,000 members of the public through outreach initiatives for our clients and sharing our ideas and insights through published articles, reports, and conferences, such as Hindsight and NYATEP‘s Fall Conference. We got vaccinated, celebrated milestones together, and learned a lot. If you told us that this was what 2021 was going to look like, we might not have believed you.

We’re grateful to have had you by our side throughout it all. We’re looking forward to big things in 2022, so stay tuned!

Promotion! Promotion!

We started the year off with two exciting announcements. We are pleased to share the promotions of Aurelia Aceves Hogan to Director and Daniel McCombie to Senior Manager. As Director, Aurelia will continue to lead engagements with clients in the areas of research and evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning. She’ll also play a role on firm’s growth. In his role as Senior Manager, Daniel will lead Public Works’ urban planning and community health projects, including engagements focusing on evaluation, labor market assessment, economic and community development, and stakeholder engagement.
