About Thea
Thea is a project coordinator supporting Public Works’ Organizational Health practice by conducting research, data cleaning and analysis. She is also invested in community engagement by supporting survey designs, interviews, and focus groups to align projects with on-the-ground needs.
Before joining Public Works Partners, Thea held planning and research positions with public agencies such as the NYC Department of City Planning and Department of Housing Preservation and Development and community-based NGOs. In her background, she worked on transportation studies, zoning and land use analysis, and community-based engagement initiatives, with a focus on translating complex data and policy into clear, actionable insights.
Thea is currently pursuing a BA in Economics and Urban Studies at Barnard College, Columbia University, where she also served as a Data Fellow supporting empirical research, GIS, and data visualization.
