Starasia supports internal operations including legal, IT, finance, and human resources at Public Works Partners. In this role, she provides administrative and logistical support to ensure deadlines are met and operations run smoothly. One of Starasia’s biggest accomplishments while at Public Works was the production of the annual holiday lunch in 2022. This effort required the gathering of key information such as the guest list, dietary restrictions, and proposals from venues. Starasia facilitated the decision-making process and managed all logistics and coordination to ensure a successful holiday lunch for all. Starasia has also supported the client services team, providing data analysis and recommendation development support for the Brooklyn Bus Network Redesign Draft Plan. Starasia continues to expand her knowledge to grow within the firm and role.

Before Public Works Partners, Starasia worked on the Administration team at the Brooklyn Montessori private school. While at Montessori, Starasia handled the budget for all afterschool programs and activities throughout the school [Pre-k through 12 grade], controlled payroll, and also worked closely with pre-school teachers as a substitute teacher. Starasia worked as a  rehabilitator/Respite worker at the Shame Kolainu – Hear Our Voices company. In this role, she carefully implemented safety precautions, coordinated goals, and also planned recreational, developmental, and entertainment activities for each individual child. Starasia also dabbled in the assistant paralegal field at Arthur G. Trakas, where she handled communications and arbitration and educated over 30 clients on court processes and legal terms.

Starasia graduated from The High School For Public Service where she was a part of the AP Law program. Starasia completed 300 hours of community service. She prides herself on being a certified lifeguard.
