About Sher
As a Project Coordinator with the Community Health team, Sher conducts research and community engagement, performs data collection and analysis, and develops maps and graphics to connect communities and stakeholders.
Prior to joining Public Works Partners, Sher worked at a Brazilian architecture firm, leading the assessment of construction potential in compliance with city regulations to optimize development opportunities. She also led and supervised over 60 architectural projects, ensuring successful outcomes from concept designs through construction. In New York, Sher has been working closely with the city’s waterfront communities to understand their needs and advocate for resilience and climate justice.
She is a Masters of Science in Sustainable Environmental Systems candidate at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. She holds a B.A. in Architecture and Urban Planning from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in Brazil and is an Waterfront Edge Design Guidelines (WEDG) Associate.
