Hannah is a Project Coordinator conducting market research to align Public Works Partners’ services with current needs and policy priorities in various cities. She brings a firm commitment to centering community self-determination in transformative planning efforts to her work.
Prior to joining Public Works Partners, Hannah served as a Research Assistant for Professor Alex Schwartz – assisting with literature review and data visualization for his upcoming book on housing affordability. She also served as an oral history transcriber with the Housing Justice Lab, which has cultivated an interest in synthesizing narrative and applied research to drive policy change. Before moving from Tacoma, Washington to pursue her graduate program, Hannah was a Lead Barista at a specialty coffee roaster and Research Partner at a nonprofit that develops pathways to higher education for incarcerated women.
Hannah is currently enrolled at The New School, where she is pursuing a Master’s of Public and Urban Policy. Her graduate studies are focused on community-driven policy interventions to address displacement and gentrification. She is particularly interested in community land trusts and cooperative models of ownership.
