Aron is a Manager on the Client Services team, where he works closely with diverse stakeholders to develop and oversee interdisciplinary Community Health projects. Drawing from his experience as an urban planner, he pairs mixed-methods research with multi-stakeholder engagement to support the firm’s public space, preservation, transportation, zoning, and education projects.
Prior to joining Public Works Partners, Aron spearheaded participatory urban planning initiatives in partnership with institutions such as Harvard FAS, Gehl, and USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service. He has worked with a range of public, private, academic, and nonprofit stakeholders throughout the United States, Latin America, and Europe. Aron is also experienced with trauma-informed planning, and supported the creation of the New Jersey Office of Resilience.
Aron holds a Master of Urban Planning from Harvard University and a B.A. in Latin American Studies, with a focus on Urban Anthropology, from Brown University. He is also the author of the book Piecing Together São Paulo and has published articles about community engagement in the Harvard Real Estate Review and Harvard Review of Latin America, among others.
