As the head of Public Works’ Organizational Health practice, Allison designs solutions for our clients that improve service delivery, drive organizational excellence, and ultimately enhance their impact on the communities they serve. She has worked with public sector and nonprofit organizations across New York City, leading projects on program design, performance improvement, strategic and business planning, and organizational assessment. Allison joined the firm as a Manager at its inception and is thrilled to have been part of the firm’s growth over the years. She was promoted to Senior Manager in 2014, Director in 2016, and Principal in 2021.
Allison currently spearheads Public Works’ role as program administrator for NYCHA’s PACT Resident Planning Fund. She also guides engagement efforts for workforce development and community anchor institutions, such as the Queens Public Library and Friends of the High Line. An expert facilitator, Allison has led several City-affiliated task forces, helping build consensus and actionable solutions for new development efforts across elected officials, City agencies, community advocates, small business owners, service providers and more.
Prior to joining Public Works, Allison served at the NYC Department of Small Business Services and NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development, advancing Workforce1 Career Centers and affordable housing program evaluation respectively.
Allison received an MPA from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs and a B.A. in Metropolitan Studies from New York University. She is a proud alum of Coro Leadership New York and is a New York Nonprofit Media “40 under 40” honoree.
