Since joining the firm, Alex has demonstrated exceptional leadership in designing and executing complex projects that address critical urban challenges. With expertise in program design and evaluation, business planning, and financial management, Alex has guided numerous initiatives to success, including our ongoing work with the Mayor’s Office of Contract Services on the implementation of the Indirect Cost Rate Initiative and various engagements with the NYC Public Schools, ensuring they align with client goals and community needs. Before joining Public Works, Alex served as Lead Analyst on the CDBG-DR Task Force at the NYC Office of Management and Budget, managing a $3 billion federal grant funding disaster response and climate resiliency programs across the five boroughs. He also held key roles in nonprofit consulting and policy development, including leading the public policy agenda for Undue Medical Debt, supporting major foundations at Freedman Consulting LLC., and providing fiscal and operational advisory services to nonprofits at BDO FMA.
