About Amairani

Amairani is a Manager on the Client Services team working collaboratively with city agencies, non-profit clients, and their diverse stakeholders to deliver high-quality products that align with their mission-driven organizations. She prioritizes developing strategic approaches to address clients’ most pressing workforce development and urban planning needs. For the Acacia Network Strategic Plan, Amairani spearheaded the strategic planning process, engaging over 400 staff members and conducting a SWOT analysis to shape a vision for the future of the largest Hispanic-led nonprofit in New York State. Amairani brings her experience in stakeholder and community engagement to her work on Volvo’s NYSERDA Clean Neighborhoods Challenge: The Bronx is Breathing project. She works alongside partners embedded in the Hunts Point community to ensure community members are strategically engaged and made aware of the economic benefits and workforce development opportunities stemming from the development of an electric charging hub and widespread adoption of electric vehicles. Amairani joined Public Works Partners as an Analyst in 2021 and was promoted to Manager in 2025.

Prior to her position as a Manager, Amairani was an Analyst at Public Works Partners. Amairani honed her skills in developing innovative, equitable, and sustainable solutions. Prior to joining Public Works Partners, Amairani conducted interviews across Surfrider Foundation’s national chapter network to develop recommendations for improving programming around beach access equity, focusing specifically on increasing accessibility to the ocean for BIPOC and non-coastal communities. She also leveraged her scientific background to develop an after-school workshop with Red Hook Initiative and BioBus to encourage Brooklyn youth to pursue STEM careers. Amairani conducted forest regeneration research in Central NY during her time at Cornell University.

Amairani holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental and Sustainability Science with a Minor in Latina/o Studies from Cornell University. She is a proud first-generation Latina college graduate and alum of the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program.
