As a Project Coordinator on the Organizational Health team, Risa helps city agencies and nonprofits strengthen how they operate, drawing on data analytics, community outreach, and stakeholder engagement. For the New York City Department of Transportation (DOT), she supports outreach to commercial businesses for the agency’s off-hour delivery incentive program, which shifts freight deliveries outside peak hours to reduce congestion and street-level air pollution.

Risa brings more than six years of experience in food systems, spanning farmer advocacy, expanding food access, and the diversion of food waste. At The Farmlink Project, she strengthened the organization’s internal decision-making through revenue analytics, reporting, and database management.

Risa is a Master of Urban Planning candidate at Hunter College, where her research focuses on micromobility and green infrastructure, with an interest in how people move through and experience public space. She holds a B.A. in Sociology and Environmental Studies from Bowdoin College.
