Public Works Partners thrives with the support of our network of women-owned and -led businesses. We partner with these firms on projects, face down similar challenges, turn to them for advice when we need it and offer the same in return. The relationships that have grown through our collaborations have supported us as we explore new opportunities and expand our areas of expertise. Our network inspires us to continue innovating and building better systems that support our communities, both internal and external. We are immensely grateful for the firms that make up this network, and, as Women’s History Month draws to a close, we want to celebrate them.

AKRF seeks to develop real-world solutions for ​​transportation, real estate, water, and energy ​clients. The firm was founded by and is currently led by women CEOs. Projects of note include Atlantic Yards, East Coast Resiliency Project, Brooklyn Bridge Park, and the ongoing work on the Empire Station Complex, which Public Works is proud to be collaborating on.
